The Board of Management and members of the Novar Gardens Sports Club Inc. extend an open invitation to all people interested in the sport of Lawn Bowls or Pétanque. New Applicants

No Experience? No Problem!

New players regardless of their age or playing ability are always welcome at Novar Gardens Sports Club Inc. If you are new to the sport, we can provide you with a set of bowls to suit your hand size and provide you with personal coaching. All that you need is the desire to learn how to play lawn bowls and a pair of flat soled shoes. If that sounds like you, then we will have you playing Lawn Bowls or Pétanque in no time at all.

Outside

Our green is a 12 rink needle punched synthetic carpet which means that there is no sand or dirt on the playing surface or in the ditches. This type of playing surface means that there is no scratching of the bowls. Excepting in the event of the green being covered with water, this unique surface allows us to play every day of the year even after there has been a short downpour.

Inside

Whether you are looking to book a social or corporate event, our excellent staff and friendly members will welcome you to make use of our club's bar and catering facilities at a reasonable cost. Our club is licensed and also has facilities for handicapped bowlers plus excellent off-street parking.
